Cartoon-like filter with vlc
If you ever asked yourself how a cartoon of your favorite movie would look like, vlc has some very nice filters to play around with (see screenshot).
You'll need latest vlc 0.8.5_beta2 (yes, it's really unstable), gentoo has masked ebuilds for it.
To enable the filter, try out:
vlc --vout-filter distort --distort-mode edge
