Hi, thanks for adding ebuild to portage and also that it start to compile against qt-3 and not qt-4. But now I have problem with sandbox:

ln -s libsystem.so.1.0.0 libsystem.so
ln -s libsystem.so.1.0.0 libsystem.so.1
ln -s libsystem.so.1.0.0 libsystem.so.1.0

Don't use it, Amarok sucks anyway. If Hanno say this (http://www.hboeck.de/uploads/amarok-moodbar.jpg) is beatiful, this says more about him than about the application ;-)

amaroK is the best music player ever!

Uhhh... No, foobar is without a doubt the best audio player available right now.

I'm a linux user, and I must say I do miss my foobar, amaroK is a decent replacement, but lacks a lot of customizibility and power of foobar.

It's definately the best linux audio player.

They are going to crucify you with pleasure ...
Rule #1: Don't say anything about the ugly design of KDE on a KDE-Users Weblog. Its lethal.

I forgot the holy rules rules:
1.) KDE is beatiful.
2.) If KDE is objectively ugly, rule number one become effective.

flame... you could say why it sucks at least for other people to understand

It looks gr8, KDE looks nice, but.. Gnome apps are about 2x faster than KDE apps.. my ol' PIII-450 can talk to you about it for hours and hours of idleying:D..

Can't install amarok, since it requires cyrus/sasl, which refuses to install with OpenSSL 0.9.8a.

I don't feel like downgrading a security app to make a music player happy.

I can guarantee you that Amarok does not require cyrus/sasl. Some funkiness with your package manager thinks it does. Blame your distro.

i'm a 1st time linux (ubuntu 6.06) user and the 1st thing i missed was winamp good old winamp....

but then i read about amorak...

it has almost everything i had in winamp, the other players I had where almost all lacking a decent library system and the 1 in amorak works even better then the one in winamp

to the creators of Amorak:

Keep up the good work
